Fane Sigal, Owner and Director of BodyWise Physical Therapy, founded the company in 2011 to create an inviting and comfortable atmosphere where patients could receive top-of-the-line, hands-on physical therapy services. Born to immigrant parents, Fane grew up in Long Island, New York, speaking both English and Russian, and spending most of his life as an athlete of many mediums. After obtaining his Masters in Physical Therapy from the School of Physical Therapy at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut, Fane relocated to Sarasota where he served as the Clinical Director of a multi-facility, out-patient physical therapy company for five years before opening his own practice. Fane completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from University of South Florida in 2015.

With an extensive background and training in neurological, orthopedic and geriatric rehabilitation, paired with his passion for athletics, Fane is dedicated to offering unique, specialized, one-on-one treatment.

Today he is proud to serve as the Official Physical Therapy Partner of The Sarasota Ballet, Moving Ethos Dance and Monsters Lacrosse Academy.

Brent Yoder, DPT

Brent Yoder, DPT, was born and raised in Sarasota and is thrilled to have returned home to support the community as a trusted Physical Therapist. A tried and true athlete all his life, Brent knew Physical Therapy was the career he wanted. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Biology from Eastern Mennonite University where he spent four years on the soccer team and his senior year as Captain. Brent then graduated Cum Laude from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy; there he received the “Outstanding Physical Therapy Student Award” awarded to him by his professors. Additionally, he earned a Manual Therapy Certification from the University of St. Augustine and is certified in Advanced Soft Tissue Release (ASTR), a manual treatment method that aids in the treatment of myofascial pain caused by chronic and acute soft tissue restriction.

Brent is eager to help his patient’s build strength and independence if efforts to help them return to their desired lifestyle as quickly as possible. He is passionate about providing one-on-one care and creating an environment where patient’s feel empowered to feel better. Under his care, you can expect hands-on, individualized treatments that lead to lasting results. 

Josh DillonJosh Dillon, PTA, FMS, TPI

BodyWise PT’s dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant, Josh served for six years in the US military until his honorable discharge in 2012 when he decided to pursue the physical therapy profession. Upon leaving the service, he attended Keiser University where he graduated with honors. Josh has also completed level 1 certification in the Functional Movement System (FMS) and Titleist Professional Institute (TPI), further preparing him to assist patients who desire information on fitness, movement analysis and improvements to their golf game. While he remains committed to his BodyWise PT clients today, he has future ambitions to return to school and further his knowledge in the medical field.
